Porsche Bolton attended a Golf Day at Bolton Golf Club that was held in aid of a youth charity called Backup North West on Friday 16 July 2021.
Backup Northwest aims to prevent homelessness among sixteen- to twenty-five-year-olds in the local community by providing supported housing and tailored packages including emotional and practical help. Their aim is to empower young people to live independently in their community improving their social and economic welfare. They believe no young person should experience homelessness.
To support this very worthy cause we were delighted to donate a Porsche Driving Experience at the famous Porsche Experience Centre in Silverstone. The fundraising manager of Backup Maria Pasarello said that funds raised from this event will help us to continue our valuable support in enabling our young people a to forge a better future with positive outcomes.
A fantastic day was had by all seventy participants and the day was filled with lots of smiles and glorious sunshine.
Porsche Bolton would also like to congratulate Maria and her team at Backup in raising the record- breaking amount of £4611.17. This income will go directly to supporting the social welfare of young people in the North West.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
